Laid in Magenta

This piece embraces a more expressive, semi-abstract style, using bold ink lines and vivid blocks of pink, purple, and teal to capture the energy of a waterside canal scene. The graphic angles of the moored boats and surrounding buildings create a dynamic sense of movement and structure, while the expressive washes of color give the piece a modern, playful feel. I was inspired by the vibrant architecture and waterways of historic canal towns.
